La Wis Wis Campground

We had a wonderful 3 day weekend camping with friends. It is the end of the school year and life is busy with talent shows, chaperoning class field trips, big school projects, and chasing two little ones. So most of these photos are out of order. It seems appropriate and a bit symbolic of our life. Our life is crazy but crazy good. We are blessed.

Sheldon's turn for a dump truck ride. Who knew the Tonkas would be so handy on a campout?

As always we brought our family's camping mascot, Archie the Armadillo.
The boys no longer just set him out. They even move him around so people wonder if he is alive. I wouldn't want to stifle their creativity now :) The reactions of  people walking by is quite entertaining. I want to attach a string and wiggle him when people come up close to look at him. Yes, we need to get a life. Apparently some lady's dog almost peed on Archie and the boys were not pleased. To get her back they placed Archie outside the outhouse. When she walked out she screamed. They thought this was hysterical. You gotta love boys.

Our friends taught Sheldon to play FARKLE. They created a monster. He kept asking to play all weekend long.

Nothing better than sticks, dirt, fire, bikes, and a buddy on a camping trip.

Play in the dirt all day then clean up and warm up in the bath just before bedtime. I don't think they'll be bathing together in the RV for much longer. They are getting so big. I think the caption should say "Please don't tell us you are going to put this on facebook Mom?" No boys, I'm putting it on the blog. LOL!
Breakfast with Dad.
I love the rubber boots over the PJs. This is a common look at home as well. Sheldon loves to be outdoors and often he wants to play in the backyard before I've had a chance to dress him.
The big boys headed out for a mountain bike ride.

Fashion DON'T: Cowboy boots and biking shorts ;)
Fashion DO: Camo and sunglasses

We still have no idea how these photos were leaked to the press.

If I had a dollar for every rock thrown in the river this weekend, I'd be filthy rich.
