Both of Sheldon’s Birth Parents are active duty military. In
fact, his Birth Father was in Afghanistan the day Sheldon was born. Our family has
been blessed the last 2 years to have Sheldon’s Birth Mother just a short drive
away at JBLM. We miss her dearly now that she is deployed and selflessly
serving our country. But we are extremely grateful for Skype!! Winnie the Pooh said it best..."How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
