Once again, we have a toddler safe Christmas tree in the family room. Tyler chose snowflakes and colored lights to represent the Northern Lights. He also made tons of snowflakes to hang from the ceiling. He hung signs around the rest of the house to make it look like a ski resort.
Normally the train is under the tree in the family room. But Sheldon is OBSESSED with trains right now, as illustrated in the photo below. This is how I found the manger one day.
We wrap presents to each other and they go under the family tree in the living room.
Since I didn't get a decent photo of the boys in their matching pajamas during the Polar Express, I thought for sure I'd get one with Baby Jesus before they put him in the manger and sang Happy Birthday. Nope. Levi and Sheldon are rolling around behind Tyler. After we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus we were off to the family room to see what Santa brought.
Grandma Jackie bought Tyler a fly shooter this summer. All three boys loved it and it recently broke. Santa brought one for each of the boys in their stockings. No matter what age, EVERY guest that comes to our house, loves this silly toy. And yes, it really kills flies. I like it for spiders :)
Notice Brek is patiently waiting for Levi to drop some cinnamon roll.
It took some team work to assemble the tractor.
After breakfast and the tractor was assembled, we headed into the living room to open presents from each other.
Levi and Sheldon gave Tyler a new hoodie.
The boys gave me ski boots. Notice our little monkey in the background.
Tyler gave Levi and Sheldon stick ponies.
The boys gave Chris a Go Pro Grip/Tri-pod/Arm.
The boys running around like crazy with their fly shooters.
Levi is enjoying the tractor without interruption while Sheldon has some yogurt.
Sheldon keeps asking me if we can sing Happy Birthday to Jesus again. Translation: "I want cake." LOL!
The morning after Christmas I heard Sheldon say "Hurry Levi get in the truck so Mom can take our picture." I couldn't let this photo opportunity pass me by. 1) They are absolutely adorable 2) they just got out of the bath and were clean and 3) they rarely pose for photos anymore.
