We headed to the reunion 2 days early since we love the beach so much.
We camped nearby at Fort Stevens State Park.
Sorry for the photo dump. I loved so many of the photos, it was hard to narrow them down.
Just in time for the reunion...a fat bloody lip, skinned knee and elbow.
How am I supposed to keep this kid out of the ER this summer?
"If I stare at this stick long enough, maybe this chubby little guy will throw it for me."
I'm pretty sure Sheldon brought half the beach back to the campground. Look at that dirty face.
I love it when Sheldon does his CRAZY laugh. He does this ALL the time. He is so silly.
Maybe one day we'll find out what is so funny.
We finally went on a bike ride with the entire family. The boys look so cute in their helmets.
I wish I could say the same for me :) Safety first.
The campground has fabulous bike trails.
We biked to the lake where the boys threw rocks and watched the birds.
Another day while Levi was napping, Dad and the older two boys biked all the way to the beach where there is an old ship wreck.
Reunion
All because two people fell in love...
The first 6 grandchildren. Check out that cute blonde in the middle.

Chris put the little ones to bed so Tyler and I could hang out.
Tyler and some cousins played pranks with Archie the Armadillo while I hung out with MY cousins. We played games and waxed our eyebrows. Yep, we know how to get wild and crazy. LOL!

Friday night the older cousins made an awesome bonfire on the beach. The best part is they used shovels from Grandpa's barn. I think Gramps would be proud.

Makenzy lives in Florida and flew on an airplane all by herself so she could come to the reunion. We missed Stephanie and the boys but we're so glad Mak was able to come. She loved helping out with Levi and Sheldon.
The other cousins were also very helpful. Which was great considering there were over 20 kids under the age of 5 years old.
After photos, we each got to pick a treasure from Grandpa's barn. Sheldon chose the cowboy hat and Mak chose the baseball. Tyler chose a horn clipper in hopes to use it at the ranch.
Mental note: Don't walk barefoot in the grass when you are at an Oregon beach.

We spent all day and into the night at the beach on Saturday. Grandma just turned 89 in June and she stayed almost the entire time. Grandpa passed away when he was 92 and would be 97 this year. I am definitely blessed with healthy genes.
The masterpiece. Even better than pinterest.
Tyler Boogie Boarded for hours.
I just watched. :)
Even our little Florida girl went in the water.
Good thing she has two older brothers to scare the boys away.
Let the games begin. Watermelon eating contest.
Crab Race
3 Legged Race. Go Tyler!!!
Um... I have no idea. Nylons on the head with a ball inside. Go Chris!!
Later, some of the cousins put on a magic show.
Daddy's big helper
I think his face is as dirty as his feet.
After two hours of playing in the waves, Tyler joined in the game of football. He definitely slept well.
