4th of July on the Hood Canal

We know how to enjoy fireworks. Good friends, s'mores, roaring fire made by Sharleen, a breathtaking view and fireworks going off all around us no matter which direction you look.
This was our first RV trip with Levi. I was mostly worried about Sheldon because it would be his first time sleeping in one of the bunks. Thanks to his Tummy Mommy Blanket and a bed rail from my sister, Sheldon slept without a peep for every single nap and all four nights. Even with all of the loud fireworks going off.
Of course he played hard all day...every day.

Every morning after breakfast, Chris and Sheldon would take Brek for a walk.
Sheldon would play with his puppy...
then feed him when they returned to the RV.

The boys would hunt for crabs...

and throw rocks into the Sound.

"What, don't put this rock in my mouth?"
Then maybe a game of football

 Ready, set, hike!
Sheldon's water table breaks down easily and is perfect for camping.
And you can't go camping with a bunch of boys without wrestling...

...or tickling.
While Levi and Sheldon napped the "Big Boys" would mountain bike
in the nearby Olympic National Forest.

We also took some time to relax.
Tyler and Sheriff Levi
Lounging in the shade reading Velo News. I can't get away from the Tour de France
even when we're camping.

We rented Kayaks for two days. Tyler absolutely loved it. He says he wants one for his birthday. Apparently he hasn't noticed the one hanging from the ceiling in our garage since he was born.
We all took turns heading out on the water (except for Levi).

Puppy love!!!
Sheldon's wants to help with everything, even hooking the trailer up to the Suburban.
