We woke up on Sunday the 17th to find leprechauns had caused some mischief. They turned our oatmeal green and forgot to flush the toilet.
But Sunday wasn't just St. Patrick's Day. It was also Brek's 8th anniversary working at the Police Department and his last day on the job.
On Friday, he visited his last classroom and had a retirement party. Of course he chose Tyler's 4th grade class to be his last.
It seems like everytime I go to Tyler's school for an event that I want to video or take photos, it is Pajama Day or something bizarre. Friday was spirit day and they had a contest to see which class wore the most teal. Tyler's teacher is very competitive and brought teal ribbon for all of her students. Nice hair Tyler!!
I'm not sure who enjoyed all the attention more...
Brek or Sheldon?
Over his 8 years of service Brek has visited countless classrooms and met literally thousands of students.
Brek has gone from sniffing out drugs and tracking bad guys in the woods to being chased around the house by a one year old. Sheldon LOVES his puppy. I'm still trying to get video of this. It is priceless.
Well done thy good and faithful servant. Thanks for protecting the love of my life.
