Pumpkin Patch

We start every day with a breakfast for champions. And this little champ LOVES to eat. In the last month he's had rice cereal, apple sauce, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, and bananas.
This morning (September 29th) we went to the WET Science Center with Tyler's Cub Scout Pack. It was a lot of fun but I left the camera in the car. It was a BEAUTIFUL autumn day, so we headed to the Pumpkin Patch. It was supposed to be 65 but ended up being 73 degrees!! Not only was it perfect weather, there was hardly anyone there because it was the first weekend. This meant easy parking, no lines, and a happy momma.

Getting two boys to look at the camera and smile is nearly impossible. But they still look adorable and there was so much fun to be had. We started out with some intense racing.

There wasn't a time limit so Tyler just kept racing all the kids that would show up. Tyler was having a blast and it gave me time to take some cute photos of Sheldon. You can see the race track in the background. It is so much easier to take photos now that Sheldon can sit up. Just in the past week he has become quite steady.
If you look carefully, you can see Mt. Rainier just to the left of the spider.
Sheldon was more interested in the hay than the baby animals.
We ended the day with a little pumpkin slinging and yummy fudge.

Tyler helped me pick out some fresh produce and we headed home. Our little man was all tuckered out. It is so nice that Sheldon sleeps almost anywhere and that Tyler loves to be a helper.

When we got home, I noticed Sheldon cut his second tooth. That explains all the drool and why mommy, I mean Sheldon, didn't get any sleep the night before.
