Tyler: "Cowboy Grandpa's Ranch is my Disneyland."
Everytime our family heads to the ranch we make our first stop at my sister Sara's in Eastern Washington. There we enjoy good company, good food, a dip in the pool, and a good night's sleep before the trek to Meeker, Colorado.
This time Sheldon tolerated the floaty but it was short lived.
Tyler and his cousin Dalton on the other hand swam and swam and swam.
Sheldon preferred sleeping with mommy and rolling around on the floor. Yes that is drool. :)
In the morning we had some tasty waffles and hit the road.
After a long day of driving, we relaxed in a hotel in Idaho.
Tyler and Sheldon watched a little "Call of the Wildman" and swam in the pool.
Be sure your volume is on.
Sheldon even helped with some of the driving.

After two and a half days of traveling, we made it to the ranch.
Since last summer, Grandpa built an acre and a half pond and stocked it with rainbow trout
It was the first thing Tyler wanted to see. Here is a video of him feeding the fish.
We also enjoyed some shooting.
I even tried out Tyler's new gun that he got for Christmas.
And let's not forget the compound bow. Tyler and I rode the four wheeler down to one of the hay sheds.
We love to head out on the four-wheelers and explore the ranch.
We put Sheldon in the Bjorn and set out. And to our surprise he slept almost the entire time.
This was the first year Tyler got to drive the four-wheeler by himself. Just another one of the perks of turning 10 this summer.
Tyler was so excited to ride his FAVORITE horse on the ranch named Blue.
Thank you Cowboy Grandpa! Tyler's right, who needs Disneyland.
